Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today marks Daddy's last birthday in his 30's, ohhh did I actually type that? (Sorry Brent!) You are older than me, I have to rub it in a litte...just a little! :-) We began our morning with a yummy breakfast!!! I made American toast (aka French toast) haha. We adorned it with fresh strawberries, blueberries, powdered sugar & whipped cream. (Can you say hyper children?) Needless to say I sent my children straight outdoors after breakfast.

This morning Madi gave Brent a birthday gift. Madi has such a big heart and is known for her sweet cards and homemade gifts. This morning she was hard at work preparing daddy's gift. Even I did not know what she was giving him. Finally, he opened his gift, he was excited to find that she was giving him a plastic tote. She was so proud, because he could use this for his magazines and to carry his slippers! She is so very thoughtful!

I plan on letting the girls make him a birthday cake later today, it will be interesting to see what they come up with! They love to work together in the kitchen. As hard as it is to let go of the control, sometimes you just have to do it! I will post photos later.
